Website Projects

Nick and Jimmy's Bar and Grill
This website was created for a local restaurant using pictures taken onsite, with only 2 stock art elements. The owner stressed relaxed, good times, and unique experience as essential marketing messages.

Nick and Jimmy's Bar and Grill Temperance
This website is for the Nick and Jimmy's Temperance Michigan restaurant. The client felt it important to incorporate elements that were unique to the location. This necessitated a redesign. I kept the design very consistent with the Toledo website to ensure users were left with the clear understanding (although different) this was a Nick and Jimmy's restaurant.

Past School Projects of Note:

Personal Flash School Portfolio This project is a flash-based portfolio completed as part of a school project. The project was created with a futuristic/artistic display design goal. Another goal was the non-invasive use of sound. It contains links to works already referenced on this page. This mini-site displays my ability to design in flash. All graphics used in the mini flash site are of my creation.

Studio Art Portfolio This page is best of collection of my studio art projects. As part of my studies I took art classes as electives. This page displays the best selections of my work. This page is also part of the Online Art Portfolio.

Online Art Portfolio This project was completed as part of my interactive media art class I elected to take while studying my Bachelors of Business Administration at the University of Toledo. It is an expression of my identity and a small gallery of my best art works as part of my elected art curriculum.

Roll Over Project This project makes use of both roll over images and the browser interface to communicate a message to the viewer. It is an interactive art piece, trying to present a neutral view of consumption, waste, and the result. The user clicks on the image. As they do so the environment is harvested to produce desired goods in pop up widows. As the user continues to click the original image of a desirable lush forest transforms into undesirable urban decay. The user is unable to reverse the process communicating the inability to simply undo the utilization of resources for production of goods.

Frames Project In this project I was required to create a project utilizing the frames element of the browser window. I used the frames to display a perspective on human races. Click on the flashing text and see what happens.

Mutants and Masterminds RPG Character Sketch
This is a sketch of a player character for a role playing game. The character is a super-powered heavy metal rocker. Completed in 4 hours using photoshop and a waccom pen tablet using a photographic pose reference.

Star Wars Saga Edition Character Sheet A homemade character sheet with macros to auto-calculate character stats. Displays excel macro programming skills. A character is completed to display the functionality of the sheet. Recommenced viewed with the "Han Solo" font installed. (Star Wars Saga edition is copyrighted by Wizards of the Cost, and Lucas Books.)
